Solar Power

Solar power is energy from the sun that is converted into thermal or electrical energy. Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available, and India has some of the most productive solar resources in the world. Solar technologies can harness this energy for a variety of uses, including generating electricity, providing light or a comfortable interior environment, and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial use.

Solar energy is captured in a variety of ways, the most common of which is with photovoltaic solar panels that convert the sun’s rays into usable electricity.

How solar works?

Solar power works by converting light from the sun into electricity. This electricity can be used in your home or exported to the grid when it’s not needed. This is done by installing Solar Panels on your roof, which generate DC (Direct Current) electricity and feed into a solar inverter which converts the DC electricity from your solar panels into AC (Alternating Current) electricity. With solar power, there is no need to switch it on in the morning or switch it off at night – the system will do this seamlessly and automatically.

You don’t need to switch between solar power and the grid – the system does this all automatically so you won’t notice any change to how the appliances in your home function. A solar system requires very little maintenance which means you’ll hardly know it’s there.
